Time we need...
To stop counting the seconds
The hours the weeks
Months
years and
Centuries .
Time I see
and perceive
As the now so old
school time
equations unsolved
On and on trying
All so much more
All wrong...
Time it’d be
So much simpler
If it did not exist.

Or maybe 65 times, whenever starting, probably when born. It’s much simpler without numbers, setting limits, and then going on themselves, into infinity…
I probably missed the point.
I like the poem
Lady Dulce...?
Still alive you are?
Loved your 'Timely' piece My Friend...
I sure have missed your always classy contributions.
Thank you so much for playing this week, hope to see you back on a regular basis.
Please stop by after 8 to let EVERYONE know you are back.
BTW...Have a Kick Ass Week-End...G
it would be much simpler...esp if we could just exist in the now and worry about tomorrow when it gets here...
If only! ♥
workin' to stay here and now! thanks.
I don't wear a watch on the weekends because I think time lasts longer when we're not always watching it.
Although that doesn't explain why weekends go by so darned fast... hmmm...
Couldn't agree with you more. One of the hardest parts about the world we live in is the way it has to measure everything, define, it, and force it down our throats, from time to politics. Loved your sweet 55, Dulce.
Dearest Dulce, I am counting the minutes till India. Have had to delay my departure from this house for five days...am so behind in everything.
I was supposed to vacate the house today...no way, extended another five days = more rent. And, of all things, I've gotten a subpoena for a case I did five years ago and may have to delay my flight anyway. Ridiculous. I think I could use antipsychotic medication at this point!
Also, I picked up my Indian visa and my return date is stamped April 9 - a day BEFOFE my airline ticket. I'm not sure what to do but I will deal with it, I guess, from India - if I ever get there!
Thanks for visiting me, sweet friend.
Does time really exist?
Or if it must exist, that we could move around in it a bit more easily.
So true!
A 55 definitely worth the time to read and think on it. Many have pondered over time and will ad infinitum. But it just keeps on tickin'.....
Ah, the final verse - I love musings on time - and yours are succinctly expressed. I am pleased to be back reading your work.
Incidentally, I can no longer access 'My Duality'. It says that I am not invited to read it.
Or if we didn't push time to bend our way. Nice one...you've been missed.
Do not know why I am not listed in these comments. Surely, I have given a lot of time to the study of time...and why I no longer believe in such. Of course, there HAD to be an 'event' of some kind.
And in that happening, I believe everything--well, happened! We are like actors in a play which has ended its run (in that happening!)
It is somewhat improvisational, as we have that horrible attribute --free will.
So whatever, whatever...I agree with you Dulce, that time is certainly an inconvenience in many ways.
Nicely written shortie, Canary-Girl!
