Remember me like this
No further,
Or 'everything else'...
That is a large rest.
Just like this:
As I remember you and I will,
Perpetually.
Your smile in the sun
My hair in the wind
In our intimate dance
Impenetrable...
Our secret
Our kiss
Our bodies.
Our secret
Our kiss
Our bodies.
Naked bodies in the sunset
Touching the abyss
By the pleasure of being together
Which is more than just 'near'...
Remember me like this
Without passage of time
No form or space
Because
forever
my eyes will see with the same brightness,
my heart will seek the same light
my eyes will see with the same brightness,
my heart will seek the same light
And the sound of our sea
will be there to remind us
we cannot forget.
And the waves will dance
Invariably
At our pace and sound....
At our pace and sound....

This is lovely... and we both focused on the perpetual in our most recent poems. How synchronous.
I AM lucky that my love can remember all that youth and wonder since we have been a couple from my 17th birthday, decades ago.
yes, i want to be remembered in that moment...and though time and tides and even we move on lets relive it regularly....
there are features of the surface of love that i love to hold like a soft stone and turn over and over in my hand enjoying the improbability of something so solid and yet so fragile. steven
Dulce, I did not see any of the philosophical, which others might. At face value--I did not penetrate deeper, I'm so shallow--grin!
So my take is that you are blessed to have so many beautiful memories...and those whom you remember are blessed in ways which only you and they could know.
You wrote words here which contain beautiful (ha! memorable) thoughts, you have NOT lost your artistic touch with language.
And that image, that PICTURE! It is the kind I would have hanging in my gallery.
PEACE, girl. Always!
This is so exquisite...like you.
You had my attention with the drawing, fabulous, and the words pulled me the rest of the way in… I don’t want to leave.
Wow. What a beautiful writing style.
Breath taking. : )
Ah sweet Dulce, you are the song bird of the poetry community, singing so sweetly the words of Ecstasy and everlasting Bliss.
Out of all us poets you always say it the best.

beautiful Dulce....says so much about your heart and soul....☺
Very sweet words put together so imaginatively Dulce.
Memory is so precious....... and everlasting as it melts into the soul.
I do love this poem, Dulce.
interesting...I was feeling the essence of this poem on March 24th with my husband...it was my birthday and I was longing for him to remember me when we were young and my body more beautiful...but he assured me that while he did remember, he loves me more now than ever.
"Remember me like this

Lovely.
Y no dejes nunca de recordar, por que lo que no se recuerda es que nunca fue...
Besos mil!!!
Visiting you and reading this poem is a beautiful way to welcome Spring...with love in the air! :)
¡Felicidades, prima! It's a new season...la estación de amor. Que la pases bien. :)
I agree with the others. Very well written. Love the imagery of your entire blog.
I've felt the wind, I've felt the sun, and I think I've felt your emotions..
"Naked bodies in the sunset

Very beautiful and sensible
Bon voyage, Dulcinea!
What's with this "approval" stuff? Never mind!
Such sweet poetry and sweet memories. Thanks for sharing.
always beauty and love to be found here, dear dulce!
oh, did you do away with your duality blog? couldn't find it of late??? ;)
There's an essence about your blog that can't be ignored. Love it!
Greetings from Australia.
Dear Dulce, I wanted to believe that I could remember like this, forever, everlasting. But after came and past and winds blew in all directions, what I remember I dont know if it is what it was, or what I wanted it to be
That is poignant and so beautiful ~
