smiles..can be read in different ways...surely love the intensity of someone looking deep into your eyes..and then.. hopefully the wind isn't so strong that it will blow the candles out..great seeing you at dVerse dulce
I really like this dulce--it's subtle and leaves a lot of room for the reader to interpret, yet it has its own definite mood and feeling to it. And that candle flame stays in the memory.
a candle that offers light and shadow...yes, I agree, there is lots of space here for interpretation. So good to hear from you yesterday. It has been a while, I've been posting but not visiting a lot. It is a gift to have a day to stroll about the bloggy neighborhood.
I agree with Buddah, this really allows for an ambiguous interpretation. A lot of meaning in not a lot of words, which is hard to do. This one really shaped into something neat :)
I understand this poem—in so few words to express so beautifully these simple thought. My interpret is two persons with colorful eyes, one pair blue, one green.
With much love showing.
When the windstorm of life stack problem against them it almost blows out their candle, the fire of their love.
Hopefully some embers remain hot. Those are coals of true love, which lasts eternal

Only such precisely chosen words could invoke such ambiguous interpretation. A great, strong write.
Nice reflective post ~ I think on those nights, we see things differently ~
Really nice. So much done in three short stanzas, even some visual poetry. Great job here. Thanks
Nice write, Dulce...leaving us to our own interpretations :)
