Perfect
This much I’ve learnt:
Cannot be always right
So hardly ever- in fact.
My knowledge
Keeps on being
That imperfect union
Between the outside
And myself.
But that constant link
With all its imperfections
Does not undermine
The importance of that bond
Of one thing
To the other...

My dear Brian has 'spolighted' me today at One Stop Poetry
This means to me more than an award or tribute, it's a recognition of a work I've been doing for too long now- I am afraid...
I take this opportunity to thank everyone at One Stop Poetry and all of my dear blogger friends, followers and readers for their always encouraging and supportive comments on this blog.
I must apologize for not having visited any of you in the last few days, but my private life is taking up most of my time, so blogging has become more a burden than a pleasure...- :-(
I've decided to stop blogging for a while, until the time is right- again!

Dearest Dulce, sometimes blogging can be like that and you are right when it becomes a chore it's time to say au revoir. I will miss you and your work more than you know. However I have been known to write the old "beautiful", guilty as charged, see you later hun x

my dear dulce - no one knows and understands more than i exactly what you are saying - which is why i, too, have considered just stopping for a while - in any event, we all understand from whence you speak - so take your time and we will see you when we see you - in the meantime, you are in our thoughts! ;)

I miss you already... for now my days will be dull without your beautiful poems and your wonderful comments on mine.
Life has its many twist and turns, and writing and now blogging can bring people and circumstances into our lives that have a profound effect on us, although many are transitory they can be very enlightening.
Another blogger whom I have become good friends with , took a much needed break and wrote a book to be released soon, but her recent email to me was, her blog grew too fast and had too many bloggers to keep up with, in the end it was not fruitful but draining -- to be so popular. She felt she got caught up in some sort of popularity contest doing every tag along and every meme that was out there, and although her comments were always thoughtful -- she felt like you do, in receiving comments, "how amazing" how wonderful" etc. were less then honest and not good for feedback on her craft.

How interesting I decided to sign in today and read some blogs so I got to see this. I, too, wrote my last blog on Nov 1...for now for the same reason - it can get in the way of real life and I spend so much damn time on the computer that it feels like it is stealing my soul and my time :)
