common sense
And you...
Still unaware of your running risks
Reminding me to beware of mine.
And I ...
Unable to control my will
Relaxing you
On my thighs.
And it’s ok
That’s alright
For that’s the way we like
This unpredictability of ours.
And they...
Reluctant to accept
Our concern
Reducing us
To mere,
Weird
Fatuity.

Unpredictable risks are what makes some things so thrilling. Nice piece, Dulce.
i like how you build this up..you - i - they - ours...love takes risks i think and sometimes it makes us look stupid in the eyes of others..
oh but the risk is surely worth it...smiles.
Yep sometimes no risk = no reward
So if you want an award
Or maybe are just bored
Take a risk and a memory could be stored
Hi Dulce...
a very relevant poem for all of us who have loved....sometimes without our common sense.
I really enjoyed this.

Nice turns in this one Dulce, I love the mood of langour and the mutual ability of the lovers to clash and still love on. Enjoyed.
a risk is well worthy most of the time... a great sensual flow you have
"For that’s the way we like
This unpredictability of ours." This line speaks to me today.
Love.
Dulce...
You can be so STEAMY
Short but powerful words. I enjoy reading and learning from you.
You sound like a lovely (naked) couple.
Sweetness. Fatuitous exhibitionism. :)
very sweet, I can taste the enticement. Beautiful!
Risk...Love...Yes!
Dulce
To be able to write a really good poem that speaks to the heart of the reader, it is important to know what to leave out and what to put in; and just how much to say,,, And it is clear with your poetry you understand the value of simplicity --it is after all what leads toward ultimate freedom of expression.
Perfection here in your poetry,,,,

Risk, at least in writing, maybe I should apply elewhere:), is my favorite thing. Excellent. And I love the photo on your page. Great color and feel.
Nice. I too like the ebb and flow of this piece.
mmm, sometimes its best to just live and let be...
Wow! I just love your poetry. Your poems pack a punch. This one left me mesmerized. I understand common sense yet, in specific occurrences common sense loses to unpredictability. We humans are so fickle. Great poem!
unpredictability, that is what keeps one coming back.
*sigh* I echo your sentiment, Dulce...
I guess some just won't "get" it!!!
So beautifully written this was... heartfelt.. and oh so wistfully honest.. and yet so proud...
Nice!! Me likes!!!
xoxo
Nicely done, Dulce!
I used to take crazy risks..now risking where I am afraid....hugs to you Dulce...
nice sensual flow....love how you ended the poem with one word. I was captivated by your words
I could stand to take a few risks like that!!! No such luck.
Just got out of the hospital...five day stint being a grouchy patient. No fun. I'm black and blue from all the blood draws and IVs.
WARNING! LONG comment...
Hey, though I commented here once, it got lost. So, another try:
Somehow, somehow this post reads true of many Peeps. But then I recall, Dulce, that you have that depth of sight which captures the humanness in us, confessing for all, but pointing not at any soul. A rare gift you possess and do not seem to realize.
These verses are like a Ferris Wheel, and you always take me along for the ride. After that frisky, risky spin, I climb down the plank dizzy, yes. But it is too much fun to not be in queue for another turning of the wheels. So, here is my ticket for the next ride!
"Unpredictable...that's what you are"--to the tune "Unforgettable"...
Of course, I like what you write, what you wrote. It's the sweet fruit of your creation, which begins prior to the write--in your mind, in your heart. And those are the parts which are loved by God, by me, and by your Peeps.
Blessings.
Nadie podría contener la boluntad... Precioso escrito. Un beso,
Sakkarah
El riesgo nos mantiene vivos...
un fuerte abrazo!!
Dulce, I just happened by here again--and YOU have been writing GOOD stuff for a long time now. This one particularly strikes the heart of whoever can 'feel' flames of the heart!
Since this post was written a year ago, I figure I'm sneaking in to write what I really wanted to LAST year!
Love you, Dulce.
Miss you!
