Back Down To Black

Again the monsters
Invading your dim night
Where no moon or stars

Getting down too deep
So deep that your feet
Buried in the mud
Cannot find a way up

Back to black
One more time

The bright light is there
But life’s too unfair

Maybe later

All you, go, fuck

This girl needs some more fun
While she can

Fun? What’s that?

Spending the night
down here
Sunk in my gut
Dark marsh.

The price of untreated addiction is death. It is possible to recover and live. Some do, and some do not.

Godspeed Amy.

Very nice Tribute, Dulce!
May Amy RIP!
Gone too soon, so sad!

Yes, Dulce, this post is special. Th daemon is a process that sits idly in the background until it is invoked to perform its task.

In this case the daemon was obsessive unhappiness. Its antidote was a drugged and boozed brain. This was greater than what that huge talent, fame, and success could give.

As Andrew (above) wrote: It is possible to recover--some do....and some don't!

Judgement has no place here, only sadness.

An apt tribute, beautifully laid out and with care. Thank you Dulce. It is important to recognise vulnerability in the soul.

Oh, Dulce, your tribute is beautiful. This young woman, the same age as my youngest, who should have been happy but never was....hopefully, she was welcomed somewhere, with peace and love.
