Some Times

______________________________________________

When the light becomes mist
And these eyes cannot perceive.

When that voice
just a sound is
And his words are
but laments.

When waking up is
again dying
And that groove in the stomach
Turns off any glow for hope.
.
It’s then,
when,
Some times...

Smiling afflicts the soul,
Because it is cheating her.

.
It’s then,
when,
Some times...

Breathing becomes eternal

And the candle will not start

Because I am wetting it

With tears of ingratitude.

Most...MOST of the time my face wears smiles of gratitude. Grateful for many opportunities, gifts given me from God.

A little tear of ingratitude is certainly not a 'sin'...it means you are a real human! So long as it does not persist. Is there something happening in the heavens? because recently I have been (for moments, that is--grin!) down!

So let all us Peeps--momentarily 'down', rise and shine along with glorious Creation, which also is one of those gifts....

love the header, too - and of the poem - so beautiful - gentle and soft and powerful - seems there is a common theme in blogland of late in terms of pieces/posts to do with "time" in some way or other - yours by far the most beautiful!

Such sweet impact with your words. Tears of gratitude form when I realize how lucky I am to read your work. Thanks for sharing another magnificent piece.
