Soft Love

Such is the rainbow
Not a dream.

He asks her to forgive
His temporary absence
His sudden grieve.

And he kisses her cry
With such concern
Such heed, so precise.

His lips so sweet
Go slowly down
Towards her knees
How he loves that inside
That between...

That she cannot understand
Perhaps
Because she does not see
As he tastes
But  she feels….
And titillates.

Such is his charm
Not a dream.

That’s when her cry
Becomes her smile
His veneration
So kind,
So alive
They could die
And would not mind.

That’s when they celebrate
Their harmony,

Their peace:
Immortality.

Some time, long ago, I posted this love poem which I now share again and recall…
I’ve added that new gadget to my sidebar ‘Most Popular’, which means not most commented, but most visited… Wonder why.
This is not one of them. At the time it got 32 comments (and none was mine). It was then titled ‘Romantic’.

Thanks for reading and sometimes commenting. See you!

Isn't this rather sexual in nature? Even the photo is suggestive. IMHO--grin! Guess it is what some might judge 'tantalizing'...but I'll just call it, ummmmmm, well, above and beyond. Jajaja! Nicely written, your memories of so long ago and far away, Dulce.
Love and PEACE, my friend!

This is wonderful. The words connect so well to the image, and the image plays so well to what should happen naturally more often than not, for us all.

Dear Dulce,

I was wondering about this piece. I don't remember reading it then, even if I had, this time it is not the same. Perhaps good work is so, one can return to it everytime with a new perspective.

I guess comments and vists are not directly proportional to each other. I find that sometimes eventhough I visit, I don't have anything much to say and so I just leave. If I mean something and have to say it, I write a comment.

Best wishes.

Joy always,
Susan

This poem blends the sexual and the spritual really well, Dulce, and is well crafted.

why his absence though if it feels so good to connect? Beutifully written. Makes me think of the women who patiently wait for a man to come back after he has painted the town, and his charm lets him back in the house...temporarily until he leaves again and she cries more.

So glad to see you are still here and your words have been waiting for me.
Have you gone all sensual in my abscence? I think so.
