Wishing everyone who might drop by and those who never will a very happy new year.
Be good! ;-)

Our conversations when too deep
Do not take long
But a bit of it you want to learn
You already know about Neptune
And to him you talk and plead
When big waves come for you
By the beach…
Mars of war
Apollo of music
Diana of the hunt
Aphrodite of love...
And you ask
Mum, who is the god of the ghosts?
No idea
Ghosts as these gods, hun
Are just myths you know?
Of course there is only one real one
Is that right?
So I must hold on to the idea
And answer back
With a positive ‘yes’
Trying not to let him see
That the One is that Old man
Up in the sky with long white hair and beard…
Observing how you behave.
I say God, the One
Is the best and most beautiful
There is in me and in you…
And as I state so
I am astounded by this late discovery
And I get to understand all that stuff
About the soul, the spirit
Higher, inner-power...
That is,
Real Love.
.................................................
Today this I might
Feel like that queen
Sea-born
Night-loving
Most desired.
Apparent and unseen
I might right now
Feel gold crowned
Illustrious
Laughter-loving
Most desired.
By even those…
Reverent mind
Persuading
The most inclined
And also the least,say, sharp.
So I’d be
Aphrodite
Encircling it all
Joined to harmony
For life
Stirring up passion
Sweetening even
Those random
Often frequent
Adulteries.

APHRODITE was the great Olympian goddess of beauty, love, pleasure and procreation. She was depicted as a beautiful woman usually accompanied by the winged godling Eros (Love). Her attributes included a dove, apple, scallop shell and mirror. In classical sculpture and fresco she was often depicted nude.
Some of the more famous myths featuring the goddess include:
Icarus has also visited
This woman's divan...
His jealousy
As terrible as mine
Brought him
Full of tears
And please forgive me
I can’t help it
I am a flirt...
I promise I did not
Give him anything
To drink
He helped himself.
His impotence
My furiousity
Took him to my high window
And he tried to fly
Stupid guy
Drowned, though he had wings
He could not swim
Reminds me of the times
I’ve also tried to fly myself
And crashed into so many things
So many different types
But somehow I’ve managed
To survive
I guess still a few more falls
I’ll have to try…
