We shared a yester day

I’ll put parsley on top

I’ll celebrate you are keen on me

And wonder why the rest don’t

It’s ‘cause I escape

Become invisible

Hate being noticed

For the one I am

Is all that you see

And the so much more

Vanishes with the cinnamon

Again basil will be the taste

And I’ll celebrate

With sushi and rice

That you said

Why is it

The rest don’t.

Insolence

Had he lost his voice?

Not completely

For still I could hear

What he needed to say

Was clear.

His look disperse

Mine so direct.

I was assertive

Shy his mess.

I thought we had thought

A bliss had been born

Instead, a deep pain.

What failed?

Showing him my weakness

Or my strength?

Her Plight

She should have known better.

Powerlessly he dives
Into a lake that breaks
    his fate
When the fireworks
    all gone off

And too late she knows
What already the others warned.

It’s his pride
His discomfort
Against the whole world.

Flying too high
Leaving behind
What most matters,

Her safety
Her right
Now her plight.

Unnoticed Agony

Lost By Sekatsim-Deviantart

Some are serious memories...

Certain moments in life
With us will go in our mind
Until the day we die

One of them is this
When my little girl was not yet six

‘Go pick your sister’
‘Why me?’
‘Cause I tell you so!’

In that reluctant second of yours
   My world had vanished
   The crowd had swallowed me
And I was searching and searching
   Among all those tall beings
   So alien, so menacing...

In that reluctant second of yours
I was lost, I was dying
   All that shot-off adrenaline
   My only company
And the thousand thoughts that can come to your mind
In just a flash like that…

So you grabbed me and pulled me
And in your fury I found comfort
And in the laughter and distraction
Of mum I needed a hug and something like,
Hey- you are safe with us, love!

Instead, I had to swallow my river of tears
The shock on my face, my impotence and fear.
That still indescribable fear...

So unsympathetic all you were…

But this is my family, any way
   All I have, everything.

How could I forget?

How could I forget?

Those were the times
When our fantasy was loose
And we lived the day as if the very last
And we did not care about the others
Or if they’d been hurt by our nerve

Those were the times
When passion was all that mattered
And we enjoyed our bodies
As if the only ones
As the only ones
Not missing a single spot
Kissing all and all
Till exhaustion
Times of sweestest love

Those were…

Days when brightness shone everywhere
As if only for you and me

We ignored
The future
The past
The evil...
How could I forget?

My mind might
My soul
Never.

Sunday Sketch
Picture> Sleeping Lady by Tamara de Lempika

For a time

Too long a time

I used to hide

Play seek and…

Wherever I hid

I had that chance for seconds

To be aware

I was not like the other guys

So I decided

Realized

Getting that far

Was too dark

Let’s then not play

Or hide

I committed myself

To behaving

As the rest of them

Joyful them

And I pretended

I was one other one

But pretending was blindness

And lies

As lame ones

So easy to catch...

That's why

After a while

I was baptized

Different and wild

Well that's fine

You must be right...

RUNNING LATE

.
.
..

It was late

Frighteningly

Desperately

Late

So late

The night birds were gone to sleep

and still years for sunrise

Too late

For those who cared

And who cares?

The few still do…

He knew the Sun

He would see no other time

All He did

Hear

That hard attempt to breathe

Once again

Each one

Taking a longer step

Let me tell you something back

While you

Voices

Plead me

To walk to the light in peace

No more grief

Misery

Agony

Let me tell you something back

So many things I am leaving behind

But my voice

Despite yours

Has run away

It’s so late

It is

Running late

Running where?

MALICE

… It’s then that she realizes
and refuses to admit
that she is envious
of the taller ones.

… She hides in her perfect place
wearing the fitting mask
literally dressed
to kill.

… No need to wear high heels
From where she is
Can perfectly see.

… Mrs Tyrant
devotes herself to sensing
where the evil goes
so as to be there
in the interwar

… it’s then that she does not realize
and refuses to accept
that all the others,
taller than her,
can see her eyes gleam with contempt
despising that welfare in them
she could not prevent

… Mrs Malcontent
Her hair never messed up
By winds or fires
From whichever side
Or crossed wires

… She’ll never realize
Instead, she’ll refuse to admit
And keep on wearing the mask that fits

…. Meanwhile, the taller ones
Refuse to believe
Find it really hard to admit
And though we can see her tricks
We insist
No matter how much evidence
We have of all this
We keep wondering
What pleasure does she find
And still survive

In being so wicked
So stiff, so mean?

On The Run

The roads were always there
For you to be walked.
The guitar was always there for you to be played.
Those piles of books
You could’ve read.

Instead you took the shortcuts
You sang out of tune
You read the summaries.

Was it that nobody ever dare love me?
Was it that I felt I wasn’t loved?
But in fact I was?
Was it that my mother had too much
To do- to share and did not really care?
Why did she take me to all those doctors
Instead , why didn’t she look at me,
observed and see
all she had to do
Hug me

Kiss me and give me the protection I had not?
Should I blame that woman
Who I've always adored?
Was it that I was born out of time
At the wrong time
What was it that kept me weeping all day long?

What a life for a child.

And what came next...

The teenager, what a mess
And the idiots all about the place
Was it me
Or was it them- then?
Was I too mature
Or too innocent
Perhaps too dependant?

I remember being laughed at
That you can never forget
So many things to regret
Poor girl
All that suffering you did not deserve

Your body was always there to be loved
Your chances were always there to be taken
That music, you heard,
Thank your dear brother

Instead you hated it, too fat, too ugly, too long
You did not make up your mind
But were led with the current of the others

I’ve got some music and I listen
And while I do
And do this fast flashback of my weird life
I feel so sorry for the lost opportunities
For the wasted time
For my laziness
Lack of energy
Lack of love-in and out
Lack of ‘Come honey, you are safe with me’

Instead, the world is against me, so
I will be no less
What a shame, a pity, a loss
Nothing will be back, nothing I’d change
Maybe I would, you know now you can’t...

So what the hell, to hell, forgive them, and yourself
It’s all over, time is now.

Left Behind

Oh please don’t leave me alone

Not now

Please do not leave me

I’ll die without you

Don’t you know

It’s you all I have?

Please don’t go

Do not!

Without you, I’ll die

Don’t you go

Please

Please

Do not!

I’ll do whatever you ask me to

As you may see

I have no idea what pride is

But certainly

What dependence means

I depend on you

As a just born baby on its mother

As a flower needs to be watered

To live

Don’t you go

Please

Do not!

At least

Please

Kiss me good bye

So you realize

What you leave behind

No one will ever love you as I do

No one will you ever find

Who loves herself

So little

As I do…

RAINY DAY

This is my old England

And my sad eyes looking

Through the rainy window

Drizzling as my heart

Longs to see my man.

This is my walking to college

Under my green umbrella

And the feeling of loneliness

And freedom of thought

It’s cold, it’s wet, so sad

Yet I feel how lucky I am

That glass of my tears

Saw you lighting a cigarette

At your window

Observing me

The beginning

Of such a short

Yet deepest affair

Another impossible love

This rain today is England

And my English Man

And that ‘I will always

Love you till the end of times.’

That easy is it to lie?
