Education

Rectify

Be more precise

Interact

Then agree

Avoid conflicts.

……

This bliss

Is knocking at my door

Avid to break in

It’s not heaven

But a sweet breeze

It comes gaily

It’s my time to achieve

Some willpower

No discipline

…..

Do I have your permission

To smile

And swing?

To slump

Or even squeeze myself

Into this greed?

…..

Tell me Ms Guilt

Do I have your permission

Not to ask for permission

Can I be less precise

Disagree

Create conflicts?

……

I need to feel

What it is like

To be free

Do all that-whatever

Pleases my will.

Wonderfully figurative poem, Dulce...I love the poetic style you've used, and the marvellous personifications. This is oh so poignant to me as well, given that I'm currently in the midst of my exams. As always, a delight and a joy :)

In reality, I can be free even when imprisoned--unless it is the prison I alone have built. (And I have done that.)

Some, in a position of authority, will always require asking of permissions. Again, here is where freedom will show itself.

I am free to accept the acceptable, to reject the unacceptable. But how do I know the difference? THAT is the question! Whence comes wisdom to guide me through the maze?

For myself, it is a Higher Power, which speaks to me almost exclusively through others. Until I become more able to meditate spiritually, I shall depend on those "others" to show me the way, from THEIR experience, strength, and HOPE!

Boy! ANOTHER dammmm "comment-blog" from steveroni...SORRY, Dulce! As always, you can reject.

Take Care!

Of course, good old guilt. I think it is the most limiting of thieves.

It robs us of life.

(Bad) Education (borrowing Almodovar's name of a film. Have you seen it?)

Today the lovely Teacher speaks and how. Every stanza provoked me into a stream of thought.

Splendid to stop by and think, as always.

Joy and love,
Susan

I know. I need to feel free, too. And what's wrong with creating conflict? Conflict is good. It allows us to see other facets. I think conflict liberates us, in a way. When we express our difference, we feel like we've broken out of the mold.

And more thoughts, Dulce. As always, with you.

I hope you are enjoying a marvelous Wednesday!

Hugs,
Nevine

We tend to imprison ourselves, don't we? Sometimes, it is almost impossible to throw off those shackles...you, my dear, seem such a wonderful free spirit, I can't bear the thought of your being held back in any way.

Wonderful poetry.
