Thoughts

Thoughts,
Don’t travel

So far,
So fast.

Hold back.
Before

I’ve been there.
Lived it.

Anticipating

   my surprise...

Like it is for Brian, this piece leaves me a bit confounded.

What do I anticipate?

Joy always,
Susan

At first, I thought your 'surprise' was someone waiting outside your door--grin!

Then I read once more: and find your surprise IS standing at the door! Waiting for you to answer!
Open that door, bravely and confidently, Dulce!
Love, and PEACE! (And welcome back to the blog.)

maybe i know what you mean...i tend to think things through as i'm a weird control freak..but at the same time hate it and sometimes just wanna jump and be there before my thoughts have been there...all for the thrill and surprise...and...i'm learning...smiles

Amazing the difeferent interpretations that have come up here. I thought it a simple little poem. Short it is, but ah...

Meaning that:
What surprises will life bring to me if I anticipate the future?

We waste so much time of our present thinking about what is about to come and which -no idea or intention- no matter how good or bad, is gonna change the future.

Yet, my intention and idea is that what has to come must be good and it also depends on my will, faith and attitude in life. Things that I can only get with lots of practice-damn it!

Thanks for commenting
