The Agreement

‘Just one cut or sliced?’

‘This is not joy or pleasure

It’s justice, revenge…

One cut will be fine.’

‘Not sure this is right.’

‘Did he ever tell us about rights?

You were seven, I was five.’

‘Do you think he’ll die?’

‘No, we’ll call them in time’

‘We’ll go to jail…’

‘Yes, and that’ll be heaven!

Ready?’

‘Let’s…’

Sadly, so few are able to fight back--but that must be every one's fantasy. Strong, and rightfully so, Dulce--well-written.

Oh Dulce, I think revenge and pleasure are closely related--so how about "slice-and-dice?

And...no need then to "call them in time.". (I've been watching once a week a TV show called "Criminal Minds". BAADDDD!

And...these final two lines--one word each:

"...Ready?"

"Let's..." P O W E R F U L! "...made a decision..." A tragedy like you chose to write--you treat with such finesse, such realism, such honesty!

A fine, tight write, Dulce-Girl! I swear, you get better with each post. Thank you, Peep.

Dulce...
I used to know a girl named Dulce.
Bright, talented, very creative.
Now lives on an Island weaving baskets for the tourists.
I miss that girl....

Me ha gustado mucho.

Un beso.

Dulce, please consider making this into a short story--I think you'd expand it into a fine read. Maybe in summer, when you have more time?
It is good.

Taking advantage of my anonymous situation in this blog, I want to say you thanks for thinking about us. More than revenge, I think that what we want to make sure is that he is not going to do the same to any other girl anymore. I agree with Steve, you should think about making it a short story =) love the picture by the way.

Thank you all so much, my dear commenters and friends.

This topic is so hard and harsh- so very difficult to digest... that's why it's a punch to the stomach, more than that, it makes us sick to death.

Fortunately for me, I never had the experience myself. Otherwise I would have written about it before and more often.

But as part of this Universe where we are all connected to one another and to every piece of energy that exists, I considered it was hight time I gave my view through words and flesh about it...

Writing a story ... I don't think I would. Unfortunately lots has already been written about it from the ones who have experienced it.

This is just my small contribution so far...

See you later

DD.

Deep and excellent contribution. In Spain we say Short, if good, twice good, so why a story...? No more words needed and we understand the ones not there, well done!
I've been lucky finding your Blog.
By the way, our names are almost the same.

As much a mystery to me as "God" is the mystery of the horribleness of which you write, Dulce. This topic stopped me in my track. If I begin to speak on either subject--God or Pedophilia, and other stuff...I am in darkness. Anything I might say cannot be correct--because there IS no correctness, no knowledge which can satisfy the questions What? Who? or Why?

Cancer, if untreated will almost certainly progress in its vileness.

But you bring (again) awareness to those of us who may not have young children, so who are not knowing of the daily worry of parents...AND children.

This was beautifully done..And tastefully. "Let's..."

HEY! I just found that I already commented here--you can delete if you like!--grin!

PEACE!
