Observer

The park is amazing, beautiful lovely flowers.

Parents take photos of girls dressed like brides.

The park is full of the laughter of the children

Of the cascade that falls behind them

The observer just observes from the veranda...

The silly waitress is having a bad day

Bad day, yes, to serve someone like me

Who the best deserves

As anyone else

Yet- look at her, now she smiles

At the pregnant woman

Maybe that reminds her of a just born niece?

Or maybe of herself a couple of months ago?

Today is Sunday, and she has to work...so

Old men and women getting here

Looking for a nice seat under a shade

They come from the north, it’s clear

By their clothes and their so white skin

Now rather pink

Running away from the ashes

From the freezing north...

They seem not to like the presence

Of the so many children

The so much noise

But once they order and kill the thirst

Their ears and eyes

Change the sound, the sight

The miracles of a cold beer....

And the observer smiles as she writes.

A little child approaches in wonder

She looks at my pen and notes

And asks me to let her draw

Something beside my words

And I agree so pleased

But her mother’s coming

Love, do not bother the lady

Now, the drawing and the writing

Is unfinished.

And I have to go.

Bright Morning Sun

It might be really hot today,
the sky above is dense blue
What can I say when days
Forget about the rains...

My words will paint the air
And your blue eyes
Will come and gaze
And bewitch me
And turn me on

No place for grey tones
Seductive
I bring you back to paradise

This is not the perfect beauty
Outside

Been mother
Been bothered
Not to keep fit

Yet you see that perfection in me
My skin and playful fantasies
So we make our love complete
Kiss after kiss
Lick after lick

And the sun will get at its peak
And we’ll lie down
No need to visit the beach

Will always be there
For you and me
Our sea...

MEA CULPA (55)

How dared you

Be yourself?

Been accused

Thought by yourself

Now, feel the guilt

Feel the shame.

You stated

To what your head came

Dared be fair.

Now, feel the pain.

Blame yourself

Flagellate yourself.

You shouldn’t have.

Now, you’ll never forget.

Punish yourself.

Be your own jury.

Be your own judge.

Guilt,

Your verdict.

NO RAIN

A strong storm was announced
But I only got to see the rainbow

And that dog seemed to be barking at it
As if trying to change its colours

But they see in black and white, so...

Been said to turn the page
And stop the fight

Did not get my quest
Maybe it was not the time yet
But that would be again I have to wait
And I’ve done so for too many years
And swallowed so many tears
Because now it’s no time to cry or die
Or get desperate, try better

But I’ve tried my best, bloody hell
So what’s next again, start a new game?

Fed up, disappointed, rejected
Ideas refused, left behind, misunderstood

Been said to write more joyful stuff...

Sorry I cannot do that
It’s not fun to do that

But I got to see a rainbow

But where is the rain?

I showed it to him and he made a wish
But it had nothing to do with me

I got to see the rainbow
And cauliflower clouds
The sun setting
But no rain...

Sinking Again...

I sink my tears

In the deepest place

Of this my soul

A place where there is

No bed, no bottom.

No end.

If I had to count them

In the form of drops

-as they’ve come out

After the so many years

What a long number

Not that good at maths.

I sink my passion

In the deepest hole of my heart

And there it goes in a sort of spiral

Round and round in circles

Getting only

To my between-legs

And back

To my heart again

I sink what I think

In an attempt not to risk

For it only makes me sick

So- by losing knowledge

I’d lose also interest

And courage

I sink in vain now

I see flowers grow,

Blossom and become

What they are supposed

To Be, and that’s it, all.

New, young or old

I try to sink no more

Try to find somewhere

Some seeds left to grow

In this my little garden.

Love Aroma Spells

Now is today...
I am no longer an enemy
To all I’ve met.

In fact, I liked you first,
Then found you later
Found
I loved you.

And that love had flowered
From seedling to petals dark red
Emitting that aroma of loveliness...

And the love in my heart blossomed
As it was watered
By those sweet words of yours
And I loved you more and more
With each day of living.

Completely smitten,
By your charms,
Your wit,
Your just listening to me.

I rant and rave about everything
Or nothing...
There are so many wishes
For us in my soul…

I cannot see us
Leaving one another
Parting in death
Or any other way
Until we at least-
At last
Meet one in the other
As all the others
As it it’s supposed to be…

And hold onto each other
For life
For dear
Dear life
And for love
For dear
Dear love….

Hi, I Fly...

Hi!

Sweet friends of mine

The sound /ai/

So fine

I find

To make words rhyme

Lots of light

It inspires

Me and I fly

As I write

You feel more alive

It strikes

Your likes and dislikes

I might

Cite,

Full of pride,

When I met this guy

Named Mike

Who came to invite

Me- myself -I

To get on his bike

And ride

Up to the sky

It was paradise

Where no fright

No fights

No lies

Not even time...

Just he, Mike

And I

What a guide

His eyes

So wide

And wild.

A surprise.

How nice

To arrive at such site

That night

Moon so bright

Together we smiled

We could shine!

We were in and outside

Not left, rather right

Not a place to cry

Or hide

Or disguise

Or change our minds...

So easy to decide

And enjoy life

As if blind

Yet, full of insight.

Now, I sigh

How wise

Wonder why...

Must decide

It’s high time

To say ‘ good bye...’

For a while.

Twelve Years Later...

One morning
Twelve years later
She gets up
And sits at the edge of that comfortable bed
They once bought together.

When they still thought they were together
When one was both
And both were one.

And she wonders
Who that stranger is
Good looking he is, but
Passion
Love
Trust
Respect
Where is all that gone?

And she’d like to have the courage to tell him:

I don’t see you attractive
Yet, we share the same bed
I don’t feel like kissing you….
When I make the effort
I don’t think
I think about you.

I’ve lost the reason
The inspiration
In how to keep this
That keeps us together

I am not worried
About your worries
You don’t see my tears any more
If you did
‘What is it now?’

I don’t find you attractive
I do not even respect
Or admire the one you once were
Neither do you.

Shameful.

Why do you stay?
There is even nothing to be discussed
Or at least argued about

Then, why do you stay?

If I wrote down the two lists
The weight of the bad points
Would launch the good ones away
So far in the forgetting box
Where neither of us would find them.

I don’t consider you interesting...

I am sure you’ve been unfaithful
Yet, I don’t care
Neither do I need any details
I’d rather not know about it.

I can’t see you‘re attractive...

Why do I stay?
Why do you?

You can’t see any kind of beauty in me either
And if I asked you why you are staying
Your answer would have nothing to do with me
Or us
Or the reasons why we once decided
Together
To share this comfortable bed.

Who are we sleeping with?

Could you tell me,
Why do we stay?

Now that she has stopped blaming herself
Perhaps she can say...
