A

Light
   faster than sound

Just another
Night

Looking  at that half shaped moon

Wondering again
What if
    all I am is
    all there is
Or
All I am allowed to see
    All I get to discern
       is and
that's what is
   despite it
    and
Or me
Or
Just another
   Fool by the moon.

Your poem brought home the evocative and very profound message of meaning in ones life. It is always the poet we look to in any generation or in the past as well who captures the essence of our search and puts it into words we can resonate with in our hearts -- your poetry speaks volumes in its clarity and beauty

Your eloquent style and deep wisdom reminds me of a quote “Everything can be taken from a man or a woman but one thing: the last of human freedoms to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way.” ~Viktor E. Frankl, Man’s Search for Meaning

I would love to see you make a chapbook of your beautiful and eloquent poetry.

You could never be "just another fool" or any kind of fool, under the moon, sun or any heavenly sphere.

And you are infinite!

And Jannie just put up a sidebar button for you!

Nice poem. Makes one think. Loved the last line. "Fool by the moon." We all take turns being fools. The struggle comes in getting to know ourselves and what we do with that knowledge.

Dulce, I love this post.

"Wondering again"
and again, and again, and again!
Be the fool Dulce. Your mention of it made me think of the Tarot.
"The Fool is the cause behind all effects, the power behind all manifestations and the seeds of the end sown in every beginning."
