Just Because

Because your voice
I need to hear
because your voice
sounds
like that violin
I never dare play
because your voice
brings
fresh breeze
and greetings
to my soul
because
I was born
to listen to it
because you fill me up
with your whispering
in both my ears
because your voice
is brought with words
of serene sweetness
whose no other voice
because I need to
hear your voice
to feel alive.

Dulce all I can say is:

HOLY SHIT!

What a Beautiful and Sweet poem...to ME? Oh my, I am honored, only once before has that happened, from a blogger-friend of yours (and mine), many months ago, and she probably does not remember--but I do!

So here is another for the "forever" memory box.

Thank you SO very much, and the violin? Where is there a photo of a violin?
Or else some might think this is REALLY about...me.

Love and PEACE!

I remember the first time I saw Steve play....
Grand Ole Opry...1934
The fiddle player for Cowboy Copas was Gin-Drunk and fell off the stage and broke his arm. A young Steve E. (29 at the time), jumped up on stage, grabbed the drunks instrument, and proceeded to blow the audience away with his lively offerings.
The Rest Is History!!!

Here's to Steve
Whose music is great
May your Strings be Sturdy.
And your Bow always Straight!!!

Neat poem. And that's the coolest picture of all time.

Steve E. used to like my poetry, too, then he grew more discerning! ;-)

Beautifully written.

But is this a coincidence? I too put up a poem on my blog today with music as the background.

That's a way wonderful poem and tribute to Steve. It's been a while since I had access to a computer, but I'm online again and I'm glad I stopped by today.

This so wonderful of you, Dulce, and for Steve! Somehow, even before I finished reading this, I thought it was for our Steve...must have initially been the violin. :)

(Speaking of Steve~ He must not get follow up comments as I had requested he write to me, as I have a surprise for him)! ...

maybe he'll see it here :)
