Hey Boy

Hey Boy,

This boy

I am gonna go and hug

This treasure

I am gonna hold so tight

Until he says

Ok mum,

Enough

This boy now so smart

Could hardly yesterday

Anything state

Today he must be told

Ok son,

Enough

Yesterdays

So soon

Unavoidably

Yesteryears...

No matter how strong

We eager to stop time

The one will come

When you say goodbye

And I’ll have to hold back

My tears

As today

I do with my fears

Hey boy,

It’s not ok

Not enough

I am gonna go and hug you

Until somehow

You calm down

This love

So dear.

Oh yes! I did, do and will(hug him)!

I translated it to him and he felt so honored that it was JUSt to him...so he hugged me back... My little knight, he is so sweet!

Gracias Silvia linda!

i've so missed being over this way - seems even though i'm feeling better am still not up to speed in terms of energy after several weeks - so my time online is still not back - but i do love visiting you and reading and feeling your words! thank you so much for being such a devoted friend/follower here, dear dulce!!! have a fabulous weekend!

dulce, i didn't realize that you had a son! he is one gorgeous little man, and if he holds just the tiniest bit of you then he will love deeply...especially 'the mama'. thanks for sharing such a personal glimpse into your life :)

Oh Dulce--how STUPID me! I glanced at this post earlier for 2 seconds, and without reading or noticing the photo, wondered which "boy" was today's blog addressing?

Oh, I must forgive myself, such a dolt!

A truly scintillating reverie, and a SWEETER poem if ever was.
And I say to myself now, "Enough, steveroni...ENOUGH!

But...is never "enough"!

Oh, yes! Hug him and hug him and hug him, because you can never hug him enough. What a tender and loving and fluid thought from one mama to one son... and not any mama... but the sweetest... and not any little boy... but the cutest!

Hope you both enjoy a beautiful weekend together and enjoy the togetherness to its fullest, Dulce!

Cherish is all I can say. Cherish his hugs, his smiles, his tears, his fears, because tomorrow will come, and he will be a man. I know, I had little girls yesterday, and grown ones today... Now let go of him, so he can breath...
