Ordinary

SEESAW oil on canvas

_________

Through roses and thorns
I proceed
Why that need to succeed

Laughing without tears

Every day just the same
A cliché- ok

Wasting time
By being in a hurry

It’s a way, not an aim
A means, not my goal

All the same
And a shame
Unremarkable,
Plain.

Ho-Hum! LOVE the hair!

We used to have a saying when I lived in the Netherlands:

Come day,
GO day
God send Sunday

Ho-Hum

But still, nevertheless, a sweet poem Dolce.
Thank you for posting so soon again.

Great words, not ordinary at all.

some days feel like that, just plain, the same. No destination just a long journey

Well, my love, all days can't be crescendos of ecstasy or those that plummet us into despair. Once in awhile, we need a so-so day in the midst of all else.

I love the new look here. A dash of red in everything. Passion, thy name is Dulce, my sweetest. The plain is the special in an accessorised world always wanting to be extra glam.

Love you for this one.

Big hugs.

Joy always,
Susan

Wasting time
By being in a hurry

Fantastic! As is the painting. It is a pleasure for those who read your posts to see how beautifully you coordinate words and pictures - such balance.
