Seizing Air

A Place to Dream
http://www.redbubble.com

In her confusion and hard approach

She well kept in mind her one

   Only goal

And they laughed at her

Saw no fun on it

What’s all this about

   Needs to shout

Cannot open her mouth

It’s all so grey, so dizzy, so dark

Gets towards the light

Familiar the place

But has to trudge, stray

Among the noisy crowd

And there he is

   As if standing

   Seen half seen

Her words won’t come out

For what can she say

Just the urge that he notices her

So he does

No surprise

But turns away

Nowhere

She keeps searching for his smile

A face not clear

Which vanishes

As she opens her eyes

So pleased to remember

She does not love him anymore

Waking up

Thank God.

To die and rise from fear, and to awaken from the dark and see a star above that shines with love, from a dove that flew from earth, only to return with a rocket girth, to explode into humanity to set life free to prosper into the elements of reason, as in our existence of loving love, and respecting others!

Thank you. This is a good poem, which I enjoyed reading. You are a tallented writer with a wise intellect.

Thank you. Love love, Andrew. Bye.

Solid, builds well in intensity.

Ha! Dolce, I notice you love love, and blogging, as do most of your followers.

And you wake from a dream, and blog it! How utterly sweet!

And, Sweet-D, you dream such pertinent words, which you remember to type quickly before approaching morning clouds all those memories into a wispy, forgotten vapor. Excellent!

Dream on, Wild bird!

How beautiful is 'A Place to Dream'.

Moving on is like that. Suddenly you realise that what you thought was the present, is now the past.

You have captured it well.

Now this is so sad but so true of the human spirit. The waking up makes way for newness in everything, disappointments included.

Joy always,
Susan

ohhhh Dulce, this is strong and brings back memories. I have been there except that it has not been a dream but a nightmare in real life. Going somewhere, spotting the person, being ignored. Yeah... you wish you were dreaming.
