Trying Hard

Soul in Cage by Manolya F.

 ----------------

I’ve been loving you
All day...

Because of all the hatred
Which causes in me
Whatever is
Enough
For a broken soul.
.
Once more
Inside the whirlwind

Trying to find the good reasons
To love you
Or not.

Dulce, this piece means so much to me, especially today.
"trying to find good reasons"

Thank you.

trying to understand the hatred...but it is impossible for me to understand...it is not something I've ever felt, not really...but enough for a broken soul...that I know well.

Always I have found that 'reason' has little if anything to do with 'love'. Or is it the other way around.

dulce i've never known hate. love yes, and even in the failing aspects of love; the compromising, the loss, the many shades of grey .... not hate. lucky? no - it's a place of perception. i know that mirrors abound and reflect and i know what i wish to return to me. peace and goodness dulce. steven

hmmm
Dulce
quite a drink you're offering
love with a splash of reason
I'm drunk just considering it.

Beautiful and simple poetry, something that I could never really accomplish.

A lot can happen with just a few words and I'm already starting to see the hundreds of scenarios that could have led a character or you to write this.

Awesome poem and write on!
