Love...Eagerly Wishing

Redbubble.com- Image

Eagerly wishing...
That our souls cross eternity
And once there
Darkness settles afar
And the time we spend together
                                  Is timeless
And the room we occupy
                                 Has no place
And the so down-to-earth prejudices
                                 Ridiculous

You installed your heart in mine
As if a sacred secret
     No dreams are allowed
     No more suffering in silence
     No fantasies in sunshine

And we don’t need to ask each other
About how much is it you love me
Or
I love you
Our eagerness and wishes
                  All about…

"You installed your heart in mine" and that too where (winks). I like the strategically placed heard in the picture. Smiles.

Dulce, you present so many facets of love. Sometimes I wonder what a mine of passion you must be.
Heart-archeologist, maybe.

Joy always,
Susan

I can feel the longing... the desire to stop time and lose yourselves in the moment together.

isn't it grand when love need not validation, knowing it is there, knowing it could never dissipate?

that is what this write reminds me of.

nicely done.

Your words, they all go down so well. I can relate to what is expressed, though too romantic, they are, for an old guy like me.

dulce, your words are gorgeous...and the closing questions rather haunting...

"...And we don’t need to ask each other...About how much is it you love me...Or I love you".

Yes, love is much more than mere beautiful words of song. Love is action, activity, being, doing, caring, helping, nurturing, healing.
All that and more.

This poem reminds me of that line in movie LOVE STORY: "Love means never having to say you're sorry"

I like!

A poets mind, can sometimes find, words out of time from our fellow kind, as we can sign and post morality of ghostly proportions, as in memories of words unspoken, as in phrases resurfaced from deep within our sub-conscious, which can be penetrating romantism at the height of poetic euphoria! Mmmmmmm! Sorry to be cryptic, but I do love to philosophise! HA.

Thank you. Lovely words from a person likewise! Love love, Andu. CRY...

Sometimes we don't really have to say anything at all... or ask anything at all... in love. Sometimes what is exchanged in silence is enough to keep feeding the love... not that love needs feeding. Or does it? Oh, the most confounding of emotions it is! But you know it so intimately, Dulce.

Big hugs to you, my sweet.

Nevine

I think I remember that kind of wonderful love, precious Dulce, though, at times, my ancient brain is having a lot of trouble with memory - or so my three taunting sons tell me. Beautifully written.

Love, we really don't know much about.I agree with nevine, it is confusing, at times all you need is to close your eyes and you are filled with it.Silently and effortlessly, at others you need to feel the warmth of tight hugs and feverish manifestations..or just sink in between the hidden signs of a blink or a screaming sigh at the meeting of a longing look that is undressed beneath a common smile.
you know how insane it gets, and yet the ultimate reason it usually is.
love your lines Dulce, tremendously touchy as always..i am fascinated with your beauty.

"and the time we spend together is timeless"...*sigh* Time seems to stop or nt exist when we reach that connection with someone be it a friend or a lover.
