My Bed (III)

Bed sharing

Is a serious issue.

Very few do

And after this and that

They are expected

To leave before dawn.

For snoring

And other less pleasant

Noise is not welcome

In my cherished bed.

Only my little child

Is allowed to stay

After a middle-of-the-night

Bad stargaze.

the middle should stretch for dusk to dawn...

So true -- so very true. There's nothing like cuddling alone in a big soft bed.

But with my little girl? Now, she's always added comfort.

Great post,
Hugs,
Sue

I have left many a bed after "this and that" and not for snoring.

But Betty and I just love to cuddle.

What tenderness, sweetness, and truth you give to us in these words, Dulce. Blessings to you--all night long, where EVER you are!

And all day, too!

Yes cuddling is great. Of course. But all the bed for myself nowadays is to me better. I hope it's temporary! :)
Thanks everyone for your nice comments.

the child always gets preferential treatment to a mere lover, but what if lover, s/he, becomes the spouse?

I love this Trilogy. And yes, we had to buy a king-size for the nights when all the children decide to sleep with us!
