WHERE IS SHE?
I was watering my plants
At night
The doorbell rang
At this time?
I opened
To see an old lady,
Filthy clothes
Such white face…
Asking for
Somewhere to sleep
‘Sorry, I don’t know you
But can make you
A cup of tea!
Wait here,
At the door…’
When I came back
She was gone…

And often we'd like to know more about them, when they disappear.
Where did she go? Was she okay? Amazing what we can do with 55 words, isn't it?
My 55 is done and posted here.
Have a great weekend.

this leaves you wanting to know more...great job on the 55. :0) i'm up at ramblings
I've always felt that only the thinnest of margins--a stroke of good fortune here, or eluding bad fortune there--has kept me on the tea-making side of this picture. Especially with today's economy, so many have no place to go. :-(
Hmmmmmmmmmm, interesting. May I have her tea then?
My 55 is posted...Elvis LIVES! Come join me if you can. And as always, scroll down below my Show n Tell Friday.
You'll find it HERE
You have a warm heart most people would not have offered the tea.
You may notice on my blog we have something in common xx
When I see old ladies I remember my granny...
I like your blog. I know you a long time a go from Sylvia's blog (Rock the cage). She is my wife.
I'll be back :-)
Ya know what? I guess when opportunity knocks, I must open the door, and say, "Come on in. Welcome!"
Peace, DD
where'd she go??? did you check your guestroom??? nice 55 dulce!
Too often in life opportunities pass so quickly just like that!

Thanks for this awesome contribution!
And have a Wonderful Week-End...G
Great 55 .
Hard situation. I took a lot of people like that out to the restaurant and put them up in the motel. But I knew they were just passing through.
Mine is posted
HERE.
Will this continue?
Oooooooooooooooh spooky!
She left a small package on the floor, close to the door, though!
Loved your mysterious 55. I played the game this week for the first time. I'm amazed at all the different notions running through the minds of bloggers. It's beautiful that we are all so different. Also enjoyed your ode to your birthday. Happy day to you! BTW, my word verification is "drayacku"--I believe that is an animal used to transport goods in Greenland.

Loved "Where is she", know the feeling, it struck the common cord within me as did my "Hitchhiker"
