Write to me
Press the keys
And tell me
State, utter
Explain
Any word you expressed
I’d receive
As the best present
Indeed
Write to me
Any sentence
Any statement
Any phrase
So I can discern
What in your mind
You ruminate
Write to me
Any noun, any verb
Adjective or adverb
I’ll know
You’ll have drawn up
Regarding me
Write to me
More I cannot plead
Just let me know
What’s up
With thee …

All the best we can write "I love you!"
hmmm...and if the mystery is captured? and you cease to wonder? what then? I think not. I fish in your pond all the time and love the mysteries that fill my stringer. ~rick
Words beget more words.
Has the elegant simplicity of a Morrissey lyric - that's meant as a compliment, btw!

p.s. thank you for following me - you're ever so sweet Dulce
outstanding! just tell me pleeeez!!!!
This poem made me sad. It brought back memories of my Aunt Wanda's death. Aunt Wanda & I used to write letters (snail mail) to each other - 2 or 3 each week! And then suddenly her letters stopped coming. And I worried and worried... and finally I got a call from her daughter. And then I knew... This one really touched me, Dulce...
Excellent poem!!! Superbly done!
this is really good!!! very unique!!
BIG SMILES,
I love the pleading nature of this poem...you beckon all to write something to you!
Stopping by from Dr. John's place.
Loved this, Dulce!
I shall write this to you...
We never know the lives we touch
As we go lightly by
Perhaps there is a passing glance
Where eye encounters eye.
You always touch me with your writings.
Congrats on the award.
Margie:)

I came from Dr. John's. He did not send me. His readers did.
The collective opinion is that your words have value. I now see,
your words have value because you value words.
Sorry, I'm really late getting in here, before you close out the comment section --grin!
CONGRATULATIONS on the award!
Sweet Dulce:
"All life is twain,
The one a frozen Stream The other a burning flame
And that burning flame is...LOVE" --Kahlil Gibran
Peace!
I loved the simplicity and truthfulness of this poem. Hauntingly beautiful.
Congratulations on the award.
