Free Slave

My cheeks welcome my tears
Of lament
Sorrow invades my soul
This turmoil

Since I was a young girl
Or even
Before my return
Was decided

No forgetfulness
My hair loose
Tears on my cheeks
Multiply

Wounding arrows
Deformed my shoulders
With the expectations
Of just a slave

My freedom,
My solitude.

So much sighing
Singing
Praying
Blindly believing
If all my strong desires
Wishes
Pleases
Had ever been heard
By that ultra Ego
Or whatever Mr Power
Nothing but these dry flowers

You’ve done me so much wrong
And then
Who is you?
Who’s to blame
For this conflict
Of my essence?

These tears trickling down
My neck
Lead to some
More dryness.

Your poetry
won't let me stop
til I reach the end
then finally
I see the last line
and ahhh
I breathe again

Twelve is Five
Five is Ten
If I am alive
Tell me when
I may cry
Not be "dry"...

Dulce, your words say so well what the picture expresses.

Love your blog posts...and you!

Solitude is my freedom. Without it, I am a caged animal.

Besos:)

You really need to dry your tears and look ahead, my friend! A new era is coming! How many surprises you'll have next year? One day, a gentle hunk will knock on your door and... Imagine what comes next! Big smile. Besos!

And who is the YOU that torments and fails us?
Who is the YOU that leads to our tears?

Dulce- I know the tears, but only myself to blame. But I'll still take tears over nothing. It means I've been somewhere. ~rick

Tears that flow from love, are a reminder that we once loved, and that love at the time was worth it!

GM dear Dulce. Hopeyour xmas was a good one..

WOw I have filled many a bucket with tears.I think in life it helps clear our vision, maybe we will see what was in the past is not worth crying over, but it felt good to let them flow. Now I SEE!!

They say tears water our soul. I feel tears are signs of many emotions. I know tears have made me feel released , given me the power.

SIgh you bring me happy tears. TI AMO

Beautiful. Tears are good. We need to feel our feelings and bring them to the surface so we can heal them.
It is definitely us who torments ourselves so. Unable to detach from other people's issues or believing such hurtful things about ourselves...that we have told ourselves through misguided perceptions.
You are a beautiful person with a beautiful soul. Love, happiness and peace in 2010!!
