In A Moment...

Looking at the watch
Won’t make time get closer
Nor get back the minutes you need
To finish
Leave
And wait until
That happens

Coming out onto the balcony
Won’t make him arrive earlier
The car won’t come up
Before your eyes
But you’ll get a bit
More desperate

Reading a book
Or watching TV
Won’t help either
Because you are waiting
Not concentrating
But
Expecting
Hoping
Willing
Praying
Crying
Begging

And nothing
Nothing is going to change
The fact that it is late
Only for you now
Because
Time only has one second
And a million
Of patience
Indulgence
Reconciliation
Inspiration
Recession
Tension

When will you
Learn that?

Ah, yesss, Sweet Dulce...but sometime the angel--only for me-- will bend time, slow down those seconds, those minutes, giving me more of what I need and/or want momentarily--time.

I have wondered, does this happen to others? It must. Because I am not the "chosen unique" one only.

You have beautiful observations written here so well, so thoughtfully planned, so carefully displayed.
One day, Dulce, you will notice that "time was held in abeyance" for your dream to arrive in all its true glory!

Bless you.
God loves you.
So do I

You've told the tale of time.
It is the thing that can't be copied, or saved. We may have time now, and we foolishly expect that we will have it later too, but there is only the possibility.

When will any of us ever learn that? They say a watched pot never boils... how true is that? And then everything you said... But we're so stubborn and we still wait and hope and dream... but really, that's what keeps us going. Beautiful and filled with quiet wisdom, Dulce.

and the learning that goes with all this and more.
I enjoy this - it is a prayer and a blessing to me.

It's one of those things that I know and understand but I can't help myself. I usually work myself into a frenzy when I have to wait.

good morning dear sweet Dulce. This is very touching and a hallmark card for sure..

My thoughts, I hate waiting BUT BUT BUT,
I would wait and wait and wait for something or someone that has touched my soul, my lips, held my hand, it's all worth the wait
Ti amo
