If you invite me a second time
I promise it’ll be... oh! so much better
Sweeter
Masterstroke
Sapphire?
First times are just an attempt to
Nothing much
When two bodies have never met before
No matter how eagerly
And early
Advanced
Desire…
They are two puppies
Sniffing around
Agates?
Too much expectancy
No redemption
Relaxation
Or ecstasy
Too much
Not yet...
Just false pearls.
Second chance
Is a best grant
Striking bliss and lust
Are all served
Gems?
Now that I’m familiar
With your smell
Your hair
Your lips
How you kiss
And like to be kissed
Rubies!
Oh!... Now that I know
Where your shyness resides
And you mine
I can start being
And letting go
Letting out
The tigress
The snake I really am
Diamonds...
I promise I’ll do better
Though no need to promise
Success is guaranteed
I’ll give it all
And take much more...
Say
All the stones?

Well, well...the second time. There must have been a first time? Let's see, the plane from New York lands at Tenerife.
Some time after...............
(I like what Sylvia (UK) said, yesterday's comment):
......"One day, a gentle hunk will knock on your door and... Imagine what comes next! Big smile. Besos!"
But is this the first...or the second time? Who should be doing the counting here?
Hunk and gentle...? how could that be?
A quartz?
I'll be so much better, I'll be sweeter, I'll be there for you forever, I'll bring you pearls from the deepest oceans,I'll summon down the stars and forge them into a necklace for you
a gem of a verse...me likes.
ummm, so close to share the shedding of skin!
moving, touching, involving!
To be fair, I'd like to give it about 25 times, then decide...
Oh, you are such a romantic writer!
Secretia
i always think the second time much better than the first !!
you're so sweet and kind Dulce !

i wish you wonderful feelings for 2010 . and all your dreams hapening with all the satisfaction !!
Sweet lady, I have finally closed the blog.
Thank you for having been such a sweet visitor.
I will treasure your words forever.

Ohhhhh! The Queen of Endings strikes again! :-)
Forming it as a (rhetorical?) question makes it even better.
It takes time to be a Gem, to be better.
Always there is a second opportunity for the one who learned.
Una verdadera perla este poema.
Besos:)
Interesting use of gems.
Been gone a few days, am grateful to be back and reading this reminds me of why...what great use of brilliant gems...
peace
gabi
Hidden jewells... this poem oozes every thing that we desire yet not have tasted we have not yet cooked the meal my appetite is empty only you can fill me with your touch of softness... sorry you got me thinking.. keep writing these little gems they are ... magical
Dule, this is a GEM. Excellent!
I just love this poem. From start
to finish this piece had my attention. Wowwwww.
Wonderful...yes, take all the stones!
never thought of it like that. the excitement of the first time is something i will always crave. the unknown. not knowing what will be. the unexpectedness. but speak on dear dulce, you are opening my eyes to something beautiful here...
This poem is brilliant! Beautifully described the uneasiness of the first time getting to know eachothers body...The second time is usually way better than the first...What a gem :)
i never thought of gems this way --i really like the way you ended it.
warm smiles dear Dulce,
I still like that first time. There is something stimulating about the unknown.
Two is just the beginning....
Here is my viewpoint:
This is a very interesting point I like how this ends talking about promises - those go beyond resolutions and goals they are often tied more deeply to keeping your word and integrity and they put more on the line.
With that success is guaranteed...
Thanks for this work
It has been
Such a long time
Since a first time
As what
I remember
Soooo Sublime.
Funny thing...
Cannot recall
Second time
Any time
But these
Must have been.......
sensual & gentle with just the
right touch of yearning.
A beautiful poem. I love the slow transformation through your words.
