COOL

How would I leave

With no good byes

How could I?

Won’t be no mean

This time

No need

Hide behind the scene

How could I?

How can we?

Stand in front of all this

Ever since

Buried under

All those ruins

Which a week ago

Were their home...

And they say

And I say

And you say

And we promise

And we get down

So down the bottom pit

We, fount of knowledge

And grieve

And we learn

There’s no other way

If we are here

Let it be

So brave

And you don’t want

To talk about it

For after all

What can we do about it…

Here I stay

Standing cool.

Wow, Dulce, after the earthquake, it's like you portray the spirit of the suddenly missing souls!
That is a moving poem, deep with thought.

such sadness with this earthquake. We hope and pray for all.

This poem reminds me of how relationships can be felt like an earthquake. Missing souls, lovers, feelings, emotions, on top one week and sinking the next

DEEP ONE.. sweet Dulce.. Have a great SAFE HAPPY weekend

What happens there also happens here when we realize that there are no events that do not involve us too because we are all connected.

It´s just like a song of Avril Lavigne says:

"And I don´t want to talk about it. I just wanna cry in front of you"

All I can thinjk of....

"Blue Spanish eyes
teardrops are falling from your Spanish eyes
Please please don't cry,
This is just adios and not good-bye..."

It is a shame for Haiti one of the poorest countries in the Caribbean and the world, and now realize that some are poor but if you are always! and meanwhile, follows the substantial U.S. military budget, tycoons and football players earn huge amounts of money, the same banks in the crisis have obtained gains! despuésdelsalvataje 700 million dollars and recently we realize that Haiti is a poor country, and it will take something to realize that Africa is also poor. It happens that there is a limit on capital gains, so that among so much poverty there are millionaires! "I translated right? Do you understand me?

You have definitely captured what many of us are feeling and have found no words to express. You're amazing!

It's kind of a helpless feeling. Sure, we can donate money and stuff - some even went there to dig, but the insurmountable limitations are... limiting. And there is only so much anyone and everyone can do.
