Island Thinking

Yes, It is.

Stones rolling
With fierce fury
The uproar makes my soul
Believe
The god himself
Decided to come and tell.

Waves.

Cleansing the insanity
Of kisses detained
Caresses underrated
Don’t despair.

Ecstasy island
Shores washed
Isolated
Untamed.

Waves.

Carrying and taking
Bringing and leaving
That sand confused.

As my muse...
Whose ideas swim
And dance.

As my muse...
Permanently moving
Round the same route.

Girl, you just keep on doing it--letting the world IN and letting the world OUT of your soul, your mind, your brain, and yes, your HEART

Don't forget, IN, then let those ocean waves of yours treat it, then OUT in the form of metered wordings.

One day Peeps will analyze, theorize, even proselytize their interpretations of your work.

I write this in all kindness to you, from across the sea.

(WOW! I'm almost becoming poetic in style...who would EVER have guessed that?)

What is washed away is the non-permanent, the good and the bad, it was all just visiting.

Darn you, Dulce! I have one scheduled for tomorrow that's gonna look like I plagarized you! washing waves and all. That's what I get for holding back. Yours is better anyhow. I'm takin my shoes off. ~rick

I really like the idea of the sand being so movable: one minute arriving and the next departing. Like we are ourselves.
