FOR THE TIME GIVING

Give me some time

To keep away from the

Unwelcome suffering.

Give me a time

To place things

Where they used to be.

That’ll take time.

Give me time

To stop

To accept

This fantasy

This fun

This dream

So dark

So neat

About to leave...

Give me time

To get there

Where facts

Keep on their way

Going and getting

Nowhere

As they’ve always.

Take your time

To look in my eyes

And see

After all

My heart

Was always broken

Long before

You offered me

Your time.

Come and see

The dream is just a dream

Give in, give up, give away

Give all, give none

No hope

No expectation

Give time its time

To get rid of time

Space

And hell.

Give me a time

To learn how to stand

On my feet again

When I danced

So free

So many nights

In the big blue lie.

You and your peace

Me and my tease.

It’s time

We gave ourselves the time

To give ourselves

The same nothing

Of our yester days.

I am sorry I can't come to the phone right now as I am preoccupied at the moment and for quite some time into the for seeable future spending time with a friend.

if anybody has something to say about me spending time at a canary island, not only will you not have any canned soup but you can also get fuct.

soon dulce, fairly soon call me tomorrow after 5 and I'll be able to give you an exact time

Time is not the solution for our problems... Time give us the chance to make it better and get over it...

But, in the end, it is up to us...

Kisses from my Soul, Sweetie:)

Dulce have you given up with your boyfriend, this one for whom you have written a multitude of fine words and inserted photos? How (not "WHY" quickly?

It takes so long a time to fall in love (3 minutes?--grin!) and so quickly we can fall out of it.

Time is finally the great healer for those who do not have a Friend so powerful, they call Him GOD!

Take Care!

You WILL get through this--in time.
Maybe by Thursday? Probably this is the BEST poem you have written --maybe ever? At least for the past few weeks!

You're being introspective in your poetry these day, Dulce. And I can feel an agony seeping from between the words. Still, writing liberates all agonies, whether the writing is about us or others. It doesn't really matter, at the end of the day, because we are liberated. Love you, girl!

ahhh yes, it would be nice to escape suffering. I for one, as you know, tend to induce suffering where none is really needed :)
I have often read suffering is our greatest teacher. So maybe this is a time to learn more about you and connect to you. That elusive connection we are always looking for out there, may really be the connection we need to have with ourselves.
Much love!

Dulce, I swear our lives are parallel…You speak the words that are locked deep in my heart…Every time I read something you have written, I think, I could have written this…But not like you at all…You speak my heart with such grace!!! This poem speaks to me…About my sweetheart…He waited for me to heal patiently and was there to pick me up when I fell…

Oh it’s funny that you have Walt Whitman on your page, a few years ago I did a genealogy of my family history and he is in my family tree, along with other historical writers :)

Dulce
if time we could hold in our hands and manipulate. like knee deep in the ocean trying to stop waves. they dont care for our wants.
the same nothing saddens me.
