It’s not time for birds migration
Where will they go?
But it’s departure time
This desire
Will never expire
Tenderness
Hug in one
Lips in fire
Drowned in the loneliness
Of this island
Sinking in the ocean
Of the hunger and wounds
Smelling the twilight
Words tangle
It’s departure time
Tears fly
And are trapped
In the circling of their hearts
All that noise is deaf
The beat on their chests
Break the silence
The mess
Eyes do the talking
Hoping not to regret
It's never too late
It’s departure time.

this is a very descriptive poem, anyone can just imagine that they are inside that scenery
This gives me a sense of it's time to let go rather than depart and soometimes there is a time for that. You always make me think.x
A fellow named Sam...
Is Sam who am?
Is Sam a fool?
Or is Sam just "cool"?
Could it be Sam
Is on the lam?
Or is it that
Sam is a flam?
One thing about Sam
We know. Sam AM!
But, well, I say DAMN!
Just who the hell is Sam???
Take Care!
Departure time is new-and so I say Wow, it is!
But as you say it's never too late, things are always in motion.
Thank you, Dulce, for another nice poem!
But Sweet Steve,peep!!!
What the H*** are you talking about?
OMG
Maybe you should stop reading *Sweeter Poetry* for a while? (I am joking- of course... don't YOU dare!)
You are so funny and sweeeeet... Sam is just Damned Sam... so don't you worry much about him...
;)
aaahhh. Steve is too funny!!! The first thing that hit me with this poem...goodbyes are so hard..Stay strong Dulce...You're the best!
And we always know when it's time... don't we? Yes, we do. Ah... Beautiful and sad, my Sweetest One!

steve is a goof ball!! you are an inspiration!!
The last few lines, grasping-- bringing it all home.
this was stunning, dulce, well written xxx
Parting can be such sweet sorrow!
Sending you hugs across the miles!
I do always enjoy your poems so much, Dulce.
I think it's because you write from your heart!
Margie :)
i see an airport and tearful, fearful faces...
This reminds me of the Sandy Denny song "Who Knows Where The Time Goes."
"Sad deserted shore/ your fickle friends are leaving/ ah but then, you know/ it's time for them to go"
Very well written. I too, get the feeling that is it time to let go of some things in life, even if it is hard to do.
Love coming here and losing myself in your writing.
Migration is but a short departure. I am wondering whether the departure you have mentioned is short or forever.
Departure always means new arrivals.
Joy always,
Susan
LOL@Steve....
Dulce these words are so eloguently written!!! Its like a strong love that cant be denied...But I am getting the sense that its not the right time for this love...That eventho you cant be then, the love never dies within...and maybe, if its meant to be...it will be when the time is right....:) Love it as always!!! Every line gripped my soul....Because yes, I do know the feeling of this love....And mine...came back to me :) He was that ONE that I could never fall out of love with...He has had my heart since I was 15..I am 34 now....We just werent ready then....But we are now :) and going through the relationship ups and downs...But the love sure aint going no where
hopefully there will be another 'hello it's arrival time!'
hugs,
There is always time for hello- again!
thanks for your comments dearest friends!
nothing is ever truly empty. not even a black hole. But the things that leave are hard to forget and not the same as what's new.
Lovely, Dulce
fabulous. you painted parting wonderfully.
