Farewell

I disconnect
I don’t think
Or see
Just disconnect

My machine is tired
Ruined, stained

It was the unlove
The high self pity
The years pretending
Toiling on

It was the vain fight
The hidden cry

I leave
Knowing
You won’t take it
Yet,
My turn
Has come.

Living well is the best revenge, so they say.

Wishing you a happy and relaxing Sunday.

"it was the vain fight, the hidden cry"...

these lines say so much...
I feel a resignation in these words...a letting go only to receive
in the end.

Dulce, you can float in cool water, submerging to allow the tension, the tightness, the busy thoughts to release, to calm down... then return to the surface, breathe in, submerge again to feel even more relief, swim some to pump new blood through your body, coming to the shore after all is renewed. Your health is the most important thing, you require it to enjoy life. Be lively again.

We care for you, Secretia

When it's done, it's done. Even knowing that, it takes real courage to walk away. But doing so will bring peace eventually. Blessings, dear Dulce.

Dulce I don't know if you are writing about a love affair, or a death, but it does not matter that much to me (the same thing?) Your writing is just crazily awesome.

Dulcemeister- got me wonder'n again. If we disconnect, can we just float or is it our natural way to grab onto something new? either way, lovely write. ~rick
