What Ideas We...

All this I’ve imbibed

I want to show you the world
And so will you
Disclosing
Such lives
Lived to the fullest
Most miserable
Most worth it

We’d never find an end
Astonished we’d listen

Yours is the whole Bible
Genesis included
Mine
The Lord of the Rings
Hobbit included

So we’d never get bored
To listen to one another
And we’d enjoy it
In amazement

As we drink a martini
Or we watch the sunset
At our veranda

Or as we kiss each other
Ask you not to interrupt
With that insistence

Or as we hear the spirited music
But do not pay attention to it

Or as we …

From time to time
So often
So much we have to learn
And also discern
And comprehend
And not hold to an end

Bloody ends

Bitter
Sweet lives
Meet in space and time
As fate flies.

It's what they say...opposites attract. And Bud and I are just exactly what you composed....everything.

Great prose again Dulce.

Splendid Dulce.

How many different kinds of emotions and layers of thought are present in your works. I bet if I read all your poems one after the other, it will read like a character's different phases in love.

Brilliant.

Joy always,
Susan

P.S: I would love to read a haiku and a villanelle written by you.

Dulce, your words, consistently precise--or not--grin!) are always welcome, meaningful.

Nobody describes feelings more simply than you, nor with greater clarity.

Yet, you seem like the top waters of the ocean, hiding the abysses where live countless miles of cities inhabited with beings unknown to us, countries, civilizations of anothet world, beneath my vision, beneath where I may swim.

There is such life unknown to me, down, deep down in the chasms of darkness, far beyond the reef. So it might be with you.

Continue please allowing the top sea to cover the unilluminated spaces beneath below, for that is where your real charm resides...as if there ever could be more than we see.

Thank you for your great contributions here.
Love and PEACE!

Oh! My sweet friend Steve.... Your comments are always better than my posts- I really mean it. No wonder it takes energy!
:) You go beyond my words in search of WHAT?

There's not so much to hide, and by now I am sure you know me pretty well... Or don't you?
It's always a pleasure to see you coming by my little garden of simple words...

Thanks for your always refreshing comments!

Anni dear,
It's always great to 'see' you

Susan,
your comments are adorable...
Now I'll have to take that challenge!
;)

Jessie,
you are a love my friend!

NOW!
What is the poem about?
I have the feeling you do not get it?
As My dear Dr John says, that means it's good poetry, but I do not agree completely
It must be simple...as simple as this!

Lots of love!
And hugs
And peace
And happiness...
;)

Ooooo, there's a delicious rhythm, here, though it is a primitive rhythm... kind of like the beating of drums made of raw skin. I hear it like that. Your words... doom... doom... doom. Not "Doom" as in "Doomsday", but doom as in drum, strum, bend me inside out. I loved it!
