Momentary Glory

Is it a legend

Or a myth?

How goodly my fair love lies

In proud humidity

It lies gazing on the midnight sky

Below, lands tremble

Horror and beauty

Both divine

This love is like a shadow

But oh how it shines

Fiery and lurid

This bliss and lusting

For one another

Help me breathe

Sweet

As the sea blooms in my hair

I am here more present than ever

With all my powers and flames

Waiting for our only

Long hour

When you come

To blindfold me...

...And my skin you lick

Always in the right direction

I feel giddy at times

And I giggle

Two lovers

Two bodies become one

Momentary glory

Grinning faces...

Quiet souls.

After a few "series-of-seriousness" postings, you have made here a U-Turn, Dulce

Sensuality at its most sensual: you have captured and imprisoned it here

Where might you go after this? Only guessing, but heaven would be the next step upward, laced with some of your mythical spirituality.

Your precious followers must simply wait. Some in silent patience, others in feverish blog-mode.

Some with grinning faces (you know--I am a "grin" Peep)

Others within their quiet souls.

That image is really

IN this world
OUT of this world
BOTH are correct

A fiery and passionate poem, Dulce. You capture such an enticing and lyrical sensuality in your words, a power that takes one's breath away. "Two bodies become one"...a beautiful and loving union.

When passion and sensuality comes together the result is always,

"Two bodies become one

Momentary glory

Grinning faces...

Quiet souls."

Dulce, lovely to stop by your raptures of ecstasy. It is always infectious :)

Joy always,
Susan

"Momentary Glory"...great title.

As always, your blog's layout is so pleasing. I love the header trilogy, and the Klimt on the side bar. And there's that tireless little otange clock...bravo, little time keeper!

Dear Shay,
I think I always kept that piece of orange time reminder... because I remember you said you loved it in one of your very first comments here...

So happy to see you 'back'!

Todo un sentir de unidad, desde la imagen...el todo reflejado en la unión de dos almas.

como ves estoy y no...sombras y luces...la vida tiene esos tiempos de cambios y cosas que nos empujan, siempre estaré pasando...

How beautiful and playful this piece is, Dulce. And how lovely the meaning of the words... especially when two bodies become one... that is the most eloquent communion. Hmmm... *sigh* ;-)

Warm hugs,
