SCALES
It is as simple as scales:
When one is alone
one has to stand
on one's own weight,
no matter how fat,
no matter how slim...
- Apparently,it seems,
couples are the perfect balance... .
But alas!
so often does one sink
and drown
because of the other's overweight!
...Thus, I'd rather keep on my kilos!

I must say your work today is well balanced. Okay, so I couldn't resist a little play on words, but it IS excellent.
And if you go out on Google, you can type in Word Counter...click on any link and then paste your 55 in it....the counter will tell you how many words you have written!!
My 55 is posted here. Have a super weekend. See you next week, I hope.
A great 55 and different from most of the others. Again it makes you think.
A clever 55, that one. Enjoyed it.
But being the light end means you get lifted above the waterline. It's the spouse at risk.
Dulce, very thoughtful 55 My Dear!
Thank you so very much for this fine contribution.
Where does one go on vacation, if you live in the Canary Islands?
have a Grand Week-End...Galen
i love this 55 and the analogy. great job! i'm up at ramblings.
That is quite a wise thought! Indeed it would be wise to keep your weight!
Dulce-
nice 55. feeling kinda tippsy! ~rick
… but. if there is much wind, weathers, hurricanes… the overweight come very well, are to wish. jajajajaja¡¡¡
Hi, Dulce...how did this "55" escape me? No, not "on the road", leave Monday morning. 7 AM. I will "keep in touch".
Hey, I do not understand. The spouse of avoirdupois would be the one who sinks, correct? NO?
Whatever...good thoughtful "55", even if I AM slow in understanding certain things. Gracias!
this one is fantastic :)
