Lighthouse

Humid gusts of wind
Move her long hair In different directions
Especially backwards

To the turned off huge bulb

Eyes fixed on the horizon

Full of grey clouds

Letting some sun rays
Come out and leave again…

But she takes no notice
Her empty heart and soul
Do not even allow her to think.
Has already had plenty of
Those fixed thoughts…

Yet, this farewell

Has started to gain absurdity
.
Only do it or not!

Only two bare, simple choices.

Comes to realise
There are two hers in her
Many more-really
But two outstanding ones.
Not an evil and a holy one,
But a disappointed and an insane one.
She grasps the railings,
Moves face up to the sky
A conscious deep breathe
A moment good enough to say
It might be worth it-
At least, just being able to see
Those sun rays one more day.

Oh, Dulce! do I ever get this!! "only do it or not" 'two hers' tear and divide. Yeah, time to decide, check the wind and compass and set sail or heave anchor. Beautiful. Or am I just off on a tangent? ~rick

Wonderful. How many times did I stand like that, over the rocks, by the sea, feeling "insane and disappointed". But the sea and the sun have something that heals the soul. I usually took a deep plunge and came back with my soul washed.
