BED SHARING
While she was cooking dinner
he was mowing the grass outside.
She felt this pressure in her throat
As if someone was trying to suffocate
her from behind.
Voiceless, she called her man out
In vain.
At last she woke up
to find his arm covering
her nose and mouth.
Just a sleeping couple accident...

Scary - but it happens. Nicely done.
yikes, this felt..... claustrophobic.
For a minute I thought attempted murder.
Great 55.
Mine is posted
HERE.
Lol!~ I was once dreaming that I had bought a new fur coat , and then I woke up to find the cat sitting on my chest! :D
That was quite a problem.
Oh this is scary!!! And to think....it could happen all too easily.
My 55 is posted [scroll down below my Friday Show n Tell!]
I'd be looking for a bigger bed!! :) Loved the words!
lol ... and holy crap!
great 55!!!
smiles,
Kinda makes you wonder what he was dreaming about eh?
Excellent 55 Dulce...
Thanks for this 'Real Life' story, I love them..
Have a Wonderful Week-End....G
Hello Dulce
WOW!
Scary but well done!
Love how you write!
Margie:)
I really enjoyed this one-my wife and I have some of the same problems! I linked over from G's-great artwork!
I wonder what that dream would mean?
I think you should publish these poems if you haven't already.
Oh my oh my.
My dear friends thank you so much for these beautiful comments. Sometimes I prefer them to my own work!
You know? This story really happened to my late aunt and uncle many years ago... So let it be a Tribute to Them.
Sweet and homely... And almost like a thriller. Brilliant.
I dreamed I was in an earthquake, but it was just my husband's snoring!
Good one!
Of course that never happens to dragons because we sleep standing up.
But you did make a great 55 out of it.
Ah, I can so relate! Thanks for putting a nice twist on a very familiar scene for we who do not sleep alone. Hubby has done similar to me and with him almost twice my size, it's a breath taking moment...no pun intended. :)
Thanks for stopping by to visit!
I bet it was a bit scary waking up from that dream. Great story. 55's create so much fun.
I love the truth in your poetry..the true moment that could happen to anyone of us, however; your words make this moment special..some lovely taste that is close to imagination...keep writing..I love your work!
Well, that was frightening! I didn't know where it was going. Shocker ending. Well done.
Hugs,
Sue
Reality - in a dream!
I liked this one. Yes, bed sharing can be a problem. By the time I get to bed, my husband is in the middle and I have to nudge him to his side, then I have to take back the covers he has stolen ---and then we have our sleeping partner, the cat who wants her share, too.
Thanks everyone for your amusing alluding comments.
I've had great fun with them!
:) :) :)
Love it. Love your rendering. it reminds me the paintings of mary Cassatt. Thanks for sharing
I liked the twist!
It happens all the time. :)
now that could have turned ugly! lol thank goodness it was just an accident. great job on the 55. :)
